Site Investigation

We provide site investigation services to Geotechnical/Environmental Consultancies, Structural Engineers and architects throughout the UK as well as public and private sector clientele.

We have capabilities to do rotary open hole drilling of various sizes from 75mm up to 300mm, coring 412/P and S sizes utilising a range of flushing mediums such as air-water-air mist- foam-muds etc, SPT’s,CPT’s, UT100’s, disturbed samples, inclinometers, pneumatic piezometers, gas wells, water monitoring wells.
With rigs from 4ton for restricted access up to 12 ton.

Ground Stabilisation (Drilling & Grouting)

We specialise in the drilling and grouting of shallow mine workings to include bell pit treatment and mine shaft treatment and capping.
No job is too small.

We provide grouting services to the civil engineering sector for the purpose of grouting up abandoned sewers where it is not economical to dig them out.
Grouting cavities under concrete floors/structures etc

Monitoring Boreholes & Wells

Our services extend to the drilling and installation of monitoring boreholes and equipment installations for packer testing, inclinometers, pneumatic piezometers, gas wells, water monitoring wells etc.

We are able to install monitoring wells up 200mm and these installations could be to monitor ground gases/water for domestic buildings or a field for development or for landfill for the purpose of monitoring gases and water leachate from the landfill site.

Groundsource

We have completed numerous groundsource contracts to max depths of 200m and have the capability to install pipework right up to the plant room.
Whether it be a multi borehole contract or a single hole to an individual property.

Water Wells

We provide water wells for both domestic and commercial and agricultural purposes.

Earthing Rod Installations

We offer our services to Lightning Protection Service companies for both large scale or restricted access installations where the client cannot penetrate the ground to install their earthing rods.
